Yasin Visram is a registered architect with the Architects Registration Board in the UK, The Ontario Association of Architects (OAA), and The Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC) and a member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC). In his work, Yasin aims to combine high quality design, carefully crafted construction and playfulness in order to create projects that uplift occupants and users - design is both an interpretive and a creative process, and seeks to find solutions that are as elegantly unique as they are technically innovative. Yasin approaches design with an open mind, an understanding of clients’ concrete needs and a keen awareness of the many cultural, social, spatial and technical concerns that weave through the design process.

With an academic background in the practice and history of the visual arts and architecture, Yasin brings a uniquely forward-looking but historically and culturally aware perspective to his projects. Having lived and worked across Canada, in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Italy, Yasin brings a broad outlook to every project. He's worked for several local and International architects and design firms including Busby Perkins Will (in Vancouver), Perkins Will Canada (in Toronto), Farrow Partnership Architects and Kasian Architecture and planning (in Toronto) Nightingale Associates (in London), Koetter Kim Associates (in London) RTKL International and Mark Lintott Design and DAZA International in Taipei and Hong Kong). At these practices, he worked on a variety of project types, commercial interiors, office buildings, multi-unit residential buildings. Healthcare projects (hospitals and mental health), Academic buildings, campus and urban master plans , neighbourhood redevelopment plans. Yasin is actively involved in the local design community, currently a member of City of Hamilton Design Review Panel, and continues to be actively involved in community exhibitions and design related promotions.
